Description:

U - ZC - S brush type stainless steel self-cleaning filter series is suitable for harsh conditions. 25 ~ 3500 micron strainer with 2 "- 36" diameter can be equipped based on the operation requirements. The cleaning process is initiated by the all time monitored differential pressure between the entrance and exit. This pressure differential is usually preset as 0.5 bar (7 psi). The filter has the advantages of continuous filtration, convenient maintenance, safe operation, etc. and is thus widely used in many industires.

Application:

Applicable Fields: water treatment systems​, raw water treatment, circulating cooling systems, steel, pulp and paper, mining, petrochemical, metal working, municipal facilities and etc.

Applicable Liquid: groundwater, lake water, reservoir water, pond water, cooling water, chilled water, high and low pressure spray water, injection water, heat exchanging water, seal water, bearing cooling water, well water, circulating process water , machining coolant, cleaning agent, cleaning water.

Filtration:

Raw water enters from the filter inlet and passes through the screen. Filtered water flows through the filter outlet. The gradual dirt buildup on the inner screen’s surface causes an increase of the pressure differential across the filter. The self-cleaning process begins when the pressure differential reaches a pre-set value.

Self Cleaning:

When the differential pressure of inlet and outlet reaches the preset value, the filter will start the cleaning process. The whole self-cleaning process contains two steps: the drain valve on the end cover of the filter opens; the two stainless steel brushes in ontology mesh is driven by motor inside, then the impurities which is captured by mesh will be brushed by the steel brush and will be discharged from the drain valve. The whole cleaning process takes about 15 to 60 seconds, During this time, the filtration system does not stop and the whole operation process is completed by a control box.
