Description:

Shell and tube type automatic backwash filter adopts mechanical separation principle, using imported Johnson filter element(such as element from Belgium trislot) to separate the impurity in the raw material, filter system is composed of multiple columns set of parallel filtering units.

The flow direction is from outside to inside and when backwashing, it is from inside to outside. When the raw material passes through the filter vessel with filter elements, the particles are gradually deposited and gathered in the outer surface area of the filter element, forming a filter cake. With the increase of the thickness of filter cake, liquid is more and more difficult to penetrate the filter element differential pressure increases, when the differential pressure or run time the set value, the raw material inlet valve closed firstly, and then open the back flush valve, the filtered liquid flows from the top of filter to the bottom, forming pressure different to remove the filter cake off. The filter cake will be drained out. After the other column is completed backwashed, close the drain valve, and restart the filtration process. And back wash the other columns in turns.
