BOCIN 500 Series filter separator is mainly used in the need for efficient removal of solid and liquid particles , regardless of the particle size these also can be applied. Filter separator is particularly suitable for removing dust and smoke which is extremely small. Its wide range of applications, including eliminating lubricants from processing air, removing impurity from upstream gas pipelines in regulator stations and compressor stations and removing ethanol from the gas after dehydration and etc. Series 500 Separating filter is combined by BOC mesh demister and BOC coalescence elements. the droplets more than 3-5μm can be 100% separated; between 0.5 ~ 3μm droplets can be 99%separated , and the solid particles 0.5μm are 99% filtered.

2, Gas filter separator Operation priciple
The wire mesh filter separator working process has three stages:
Step 1: Gravity separating
Gas flows into the filter body from inlet pipe. With the strong impact towards the shell surface or cartridge frame, impurity substances in big size will be separated;
Step 2: Screening holes separating
Rechargeable filtering devices are equipped at the head side of the separator. The type and accuracy level can be chosen with different working requirements. Solid impurity substances in minimal size will be gathered into mist style stuff and removed.
Step 3: Leaf separating
With a mesh demistre, the liquid drop will be collected and stored in the catch basin in the bottom of the filter separator.

5, Gas filter separator Mesh demister
Description >>
Wire mesh demister, also known as wire mesh mist eliminator, screen capture demister, demister. Primarily used for the separation of diameter greater than 3μm ~ 5μm droplets.
When the gas mist with a certain speed to rise through the filter mesh of the intermediate grid, the inertia of the rising mist, make the filaments collide with the mist and adhere to the surface of the filaments.
Mist further spread on the surface of the filament, as for itself gravity, the mist is formed larger droplets and flow along its filament interleaving.Along with wettability of the filaments, capillary action and surface tension of the liquid filaments the droplets increases, until the force of its own weight
exceeds the buoyancy of the rising gas and liquid surface tension, the drop was separated.
6, Gas filter separator Application cases
Applications:
BOCIN Horizontal double barrel and/or Vertical filter separators are designed to provide efficient liquid/solid removal and high gas capacities. The coalescer filter section removes bulk liquid and solid particles and also coalesces fine liquid droplets into larger ones. These larger droplets are then removed in the second Double Pocket (DP) Vane] section. BOCIN utilizes high capacity DP Vanes to increase the separator’s throughput and thus minimize the separator diameter.
The double barrel configuration allows you to maximize the gas flow in the upper barrel without re-entrainment while the liquid drops into the lower barrel. BOCIN offers standard coalescing filters that can be replaced periodically or designs that can be cleaned and reused.
